Information on the safe and healthy operations of our hotel
Given the current concerns related to covid-19, we have put in place house rules that along with adequate sanitation protocols, safety methods and operation procedures, guarantee the well-being of our guests this summer and beyond.
These rules include:
Our employees have been trained to follow the sanitation and safety guidelines of the national public health authorities and to efficiently handle any situation that might occur.
We have set clearly established time-schedule for cleaning and disinfection in all areas.
We provide masks and hand sanitizers in all public places.
We perform frequent cleaning and disinfection of outdoor and high touch locations.
We are among the first hotels that have been certified with the sign Health First
We have set and follow separate protocols for each operating area:
RECEPTION:
We have changed the check-in and check-out time in order to have more time for a more thorough cleaning, disinfecting and ventilating the rooms between guests’ stays:
New Check-in time 15:00 (3 pm)
New Check-out time 11:00 (11 am)
We have installed a protective plexiglass shield in reception desk
We sterilize all keys before guests’ arrival
ROOMS & CLEANING:
Thorough disinfection by certified steam cleaner between stays
Decorative elements and loose items such as magazines, note pads and informative folders have been removed from the rooms
We avoid daily cleaning of the rooms unless asked differently by the guest
Personal hand sanitizer is provided in all rooms
BREAKFAST:
This year we DON’T offer a buffet breakfast, and we have subtracted the breakfast’s value from the room rates.
However, you may still take a light à la carte breakfast in our hotel’s café every morning.

Where to begin. The hotel, it’s staff and the views were amazing. Loved breakfast outside side and a quiet glass of wine as the sun was setting. Monemvasia is amazing place. What a fantastic experience. Thanks.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast, especially the omelette. The walk wasn’t an issue, it’s not far from the entrance at all, it’s the cobbled streets that tourists may have an issue with, but then, this is another beauty of Monemvasia.

Beautiful, peaceful location in the historic town of Monemvasia a short distance from the small centre. The hotel is sympathetically designed and furnished in keeping with its setting. Spacious room with lovely view over the town and beyond from large terrace.
